Hello! We are Gerald and Maria, Founders of June Pine Jewelry. Established in Bolingbrook, IL, our Maison honors our legacy and heritage as entrepreneurs, and business professionals. We specialize in 14K Yellow Gold and Sterling Silver pieces that are tarnish-free and hypoallergenic, curating a collection of modern heirloom jewelry proudly made in the United States. With over 30 years of combined experience in the Information Technology field across the Chicagoland area, we bring the same dedication, precision, and resilience to our passion project. June Pine Jewelry is more than a brand — it is a reflection of our journey. This brand was built with the love and support from the Rapatalo and Jacob Families as aligned with our traditions and values. We are thrilled to share it with you.

MEET THE TEAM

Our daughter Megan is currently a sophomore pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science at the Grainger College of Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), where she also leads as the Athletic Co-Chairperson and Board Member of the UIUC Philippine Student Association. Megan’s leadership journey began in high school as Captain of the Science Olympiad Team, President of the Science National Honor Society, and a Varsity Volleyball Player at Plainfield East. She was honored with the AAU All-American Volleyball Academic Award and previously showcased her talents as a member of the Starfire Synchronized Ice Skating Team. Her dedication, creativity, and drive continue to inspire us as she brings innovation and energy to our Maison.

Our son Colin is currently an 8th grader at Saint Scholastica School in Woodridge, IL and will be attending Plainfield East High School. His academic excellence led him to advance to the IHSA State Science Fair and compete in both the Providence and Benet Academic Bowls. Beyond the classroom, Colin shines as an athlete, playing for Sports Performance Volleyball and earning the TCC All-Conference Award. Under Gerald’s coaching, his Saint Scholastica Boys Volleyball Team reached the semi-finals in their division. Colin’s dedication extends to the pool as well, having been a former member of the Bolingbrook Pelican Swim Team. His curiosity, discipline, and drive inspire us daily as he grows into his role within our Maison.

June Pine reflects our journey together — a name woven with meaning and memory. “June” honors the day we were married, June 1 at St. Dominic Church, while “Pine,” the evergreen tree, symbolizes the enduring legacy and aspirations we carry into the future. June Pine Jewelry is more than a brand; it is our Maison, a living reflection of love, resilience, and heritage.
